Autech has continued to excel, gaining recognition in three different award ceremonies recently.  We were the only Tasmanian company to be nominated for the Charlton Trailblazers award, our  CEO Darren Alexander was a recent finalist in the southern category of the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Awards in Melbourne and  - along with our client 10 Days on the Island - we won the SME award at the Tasmanian State Awards of the Australian Arts Foundation (AbaF).

Charlton Trailblazers of Trade award

Autech was recently nominated along with very high-profile companies -  such as Jetstar, Lonely Planet, CLS, Aussie Bums, Monash University, Ripcurl, Westfield Group and  Cochlear  - as a Trailblazer in international trade.  The Charlton Trailblazers of Trade award recognises Australia's top exporters and was judged by two former Australian Trade Ministers, the Head of Global Trade and Finance at ANZ and the former Chief of Staff to Prime Minister John Howard.

Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Awards

Autech's CEO Darren Alexander was thrilled to be a recent finalist in the southern category of the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Awards in Melbourne.  Darren stood proud 'alongside other entrepreneurs such as George Calombaris from Master Chef, Michael Klim and Brian McNamee OA,'

Given the calibre of competitors, it is a great accolade for Darren to be recognised among such innovative company.  Darren credits the achievement to the dedicated Autech team who are always looking to excel to stay ahead of the pack.

Tasmanian State Awards of the Australian Arts Foundation (AbaF)

Autech - along with our client 10 Days on the Island - has just won the SME award at the Tasmanian State Awards of the Australian Arts Foundation (AbaF).  The awards honour relationships between the private sector and the arts - Autech was recognised for our 10 Days on the Island iPhone and iPad apps.  The apps allowed those going to the festival to view information about individual events around the state, find events near them, book tickets and more.  Autech is a proud sponsor of the arts in Tasmania and enjoys fostering creativity in all its forms.
