Hanson Mobile Application
The Hanson Mobile Application was built to cater to the needs of contractors who utilise Hanson aggregate, concrete, and precast products. The main menu of the app was designed for quick access to the key features, such as the MyHanson portal for managing orders and deliveries. The user of the app can also quickly navigate from one major section of the app to the other using a simplified version of the main menu at the bottom of the screen.
The concrete calculator can work out the volume of common areas, if the contractor needs to purchase that amount of concrete, they can request a quote on that calculated volume directly from the calculator screen.
The Hanson aggregate, concrete and precast product ranges are available for browsing within the app, and updatable from online content powered by Autech's inScribe CMS. Detailed product data can be read, with links to additional information and downloadable brochures. Product samples with ranges in different states of Australia can be viewed as a full screen image, which can be shared on social media or by email. And of course if needed contact details for quarries or plants in the area can be searched or manually located by product group.
This application was built to support iPad, iPhone and Android based phones, and very soon will be available on Windows Phone.
